Suggest to me a new culty haircut.

My hair is just long enough to play with now. I am thinking of getting it cut like Leonard Nimoy's hair when he was in Start Trek or like a Heaven's Gate cult member. What other haircuts are there out there that will make me look like a brainwashed slave?

I'm sure there's a smart assed remark in there, somewhere. Really.

I'm just not quick enough to pull it off.

Are you sure you can convey all that with a haircut? Why not a forehead tattoo?

No? Maybe a t-shirt then?

(Also... Start Trek? I'll save the smartassed comment on that one for our next contestant.)

If you want to be rude, please take it to the pit. I really want a cult like haircut but I don't know of many to choose from.

Didn't see Ethrilist's post. Hmmm. My head is kinda bumpy so I don't think that would quite work. Well maybe in the winter when it's cold...Like now!

I say you grow it long enough to do a full Louix XIV barrel-curl style. You may singlehandedly revive the style!

I didn't mean to be rude, and I apologize if any offense was taken.

I do like the suggestion of shaving and tattooing (even temporary tattoos). I've always wanted to see someone do that.

Silly Eve, as a woman of distinguished taste (love your phones btw) I would have thought you could spot that nasty wig from miles away. If I ever make it to NYC we can go to the top of some building and make fun of people's ugly toupees.

I, too, did not mean to be rude. Only witty.

I think if you tried for the Louis look, there's be a long time where you would have that "inbetween look" that's always so nice to have when you're growing out hair.

And shoot! My connection is bad right now, so I can't get any of the linked pictures to load! Wah!

OK, a seriously cult haircut? How about a severe c1960s flat-top crewcut? Easy maintainence, and scary-lookin'!

Along those lines, you could go for the Koresh mop top. Low maintenance, and you don't have to put any products in it. Nevertheless, I'm not sure it would create the effect you are looking for though. The Galaxy Quest widow point or full shave, could work better for the "brainwashed, I have no will of my own" look.

Have fun

I would have to grow my hair out too long to get the Koresh crazy look. I like it but it I don't want to keep a haircut for quite that long a time.

Do you follow soccer (football)? How about a "Beckham?" It was quite the rage last summer at the Cup.

Let me see if I can find a picture.

In Dan Piraro's "Bizarro" daily panel, he showed young men shaving parts of their heads to emulate Male Pattern Baldness.

Another approach was done by a biker in these parts. During the winter, he has a longish haircut. In the spring and summer, he shaves his scalp to reveal an elaborate fiery tattoo. He is known as Flamehead.

I'm in the "shave it" camp.

Of course this picture of me taken moments ago might show my bias.. http://www.tictokmen.com/stuff/head.jpg

How about a nice monk haircut?
Perhaps something like this: http://home.freeuk.com/elloughton13/images11/monk.jpg

Alternatively you could go for the "shave one side of the head" look - I'm sure that will attract girls too

Good luck with it!

I won't be doing anything that requires me to grow part of it long. I want it to look respectable but still cult like. The crew cut is an idea but I am looking more into the Galaxy Quest widow peak look.

Whoops. Left out something. It has to be culty and brainwashed looking and also professional enough to wear to an office job.

I saw 'hawk it. And since your hair is (as you stated) relatively longish, do a rooster comb!

I dated a guy with a nifty multicolored rooster comb-

Did you know that shaving a guy's head can be quite erotic?
