Does anyone know this?

I heard a while ago that it was similar to the Nazi party motto.

Ein Volk : One People
Ein Reich : One Empire/Kingdom
Ein Fuhrer : One Leader

anyone?

No, no, no.

It's "Risistance is futile!"

Or am I confusing that with something else....

A year ago, Microsoft changed its slogan from the now-accomplished "A computer on every desk" to the vague/feel-good "Empower people through great software anytime, any place and on any device", according to New vision, new slogan for Microsoft which ran in the Detroit Free Press.

In 1922, AT&T's slogan was "One Policy, One System, Universal Service, and all directed toward Better Service", according to an ad I have on my web site at National Radio Broadcast By Bell System . (At this time, AT&T was being charged, not without reason, with wanting to monopolize telephone service).

I get a warm and fuzzy feeling from the knowledge that some day, thanks to Bill Gates, I'll be able to change the world with my toaster.

I still remember "Where do you want to go today?"

To which the only reply is <whiny voice>"Are we there yet?"</whiny voice>

Doesn't the fact that you saw that on a hate site tell you something?

{blinding flash of the obvious}
It was B.S.

>> Where do you want to go today?

It doesn't matter; MS has other plans.

I think the slogan you're thinking of is "One World, One Web, One Program," which is contrasted with "Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Fuhrer" in the countless signatures containing it. The slogan is attributed to a Microsoft promotional ad, which seems plausible to me, although you'd have to wade through a hell of a lot of signatures if you were to try to find reliable evidence for it on the web.

Speaking of hell, here is another amusing Microsoft advertising blunder.

Kinda related...

All I know is that I heard that Microsoft was named by Bill Gate's wife...

The company was named before he was married.

And yes, I got the "joke". If you want to hear a real joke, rent a Monty Python movie.
