Norton Anti-Virus question
Okay, for some reason, when I turned on my computer just now, the little Norton Icon on the bottom tool bar is X-ed out, and I get a pop up message saying Norton Anti-Virus drivers won't open auto protection. Restart. Okay, I did that, and it STILL does the same thing.
Soooo I open Norton up, and it SAYS Auto Protection is On. But the little icon is stil X-ed out. I haven't downloaded any updates for a while (I know, I got lazy), and one of them is Symantec Common Driver: SymEvent. Could that be it? Any idea? Because I cannot figure out WHY it would just do this all of a sudden. |

Hey that's weird, the same exact thing happened to me this morning. The only thing I can think of is that it says my subscription renewal date has expired, but I dunno.

Well, that's not the problem with mine, since I don't have to renew until July. This is ridiculous. |

I'm trying to download just the driver there, hopefully that'll fix the Auto Protection thing.
Scott Plaid, I'm not just going to scrap Norton and go with another program-dammit, I paid for this service, and I intend to see that I get it! |

Oh, and NOW twice the Live Update has "lost connection", and I've had to start it again! What the HELL?
