|
well recently i read the email about the guy wanting to blow up the moon, and he wanted to find out if it would screw up the earth TOO much, well i was wondering, would it be legal for me to blow up the moon?
i mean who could stop me? its the moon are there any laws on the moon? who would punish me? my country (australia)? or world leaders? need answers

Well, blowing up the moon would almost certainly wipe out most or all life on Earth, so the multiple counts of genocide would definitely be "illegal" (understatement).

Your country (Australia) would be responsible for your actions, as Article VI of TOPGASEOUS makes clear. Blowing up the Moon would be prohhibited by Article IX.
Australia ratified TOPGASEOUS in 1967.
