The biggest, best and most followed fantasy football* league on the planet is back.

I have renewed the SDMB League on http://fantasy.premierleague.com in an attempt to do better than last year. Anyone who was part of it last year will be automatically included. Anyone new who wants to join in the code is 870185-333608. The 1st Gameweek is 13th August so all teams will need to be in by then. You have unlimited transfers until that point, so plenty of time to react to the latest gossip.

Is there room for a total newbie? I've been following the Premier league pretty avidly over the past few years, but I've never played any fantasy soccer game.

Ok, i"m in as Phoenix Redbirds. Should be an interesting year. Anyone know if there are any podcasts or message boards dedicated to fantasy EPL?

Due to all the technical issues around the end of Gameweek 1, there are now unlimited free transfers until deadline of Gameweek 2. Use them or lose them.

Time to get rid of all those injured players I appear to have picked up.
