Poem in John Denver Liner Notes

My old girlfriend called tonight wondering if I had a poem from the liner notes of a John Denver album. She didn't recall the album, but remembered the poem had something to do with various (Biblical?) characters, especially Jesus being crucified. I've not been able to find it with conventional google fu. Would any of the teeming John Denver fans be able to help on this one?
