Twilight: breaking dawn wedding song: WTF?

I have been roped into watching this movie, and the lyrics to the song played during the wedding kiss caused me to forget my hate and laugh to the point of anoxia. It includes lyrics like "American mouth" and " now I'm a Fat House Cat" " delivered in an overwrought sentimental falsetto. My twilight loving friend is now kinda crabby at my for singing along, and accused me of altering the DVD.
Did anyone else notice this song? Was the band doing this on purpose?
If there is more music like this I will start to enjoy this movie.
