Help me design a flag (also, anyone know any ancient Greek?)
Yeah - so I have no idea what I'm doing here. I'm watching my girlfriend's dog this weekend, while she's off at a wedding across the country. Her dog is a relatively well-behaved Jack Russell who gets along with my two dogs excellently. However, she's a little intense sometimes (she IS a JRT), and needs time to relax in her crate. I've dubbed her crate "PRN" - the People's Republic of Nancy (not her real name - gf is a little weird about info on the interwebs, so I'm playing it safe).
I've decided that PRN needs its own flag. I think it will be something simple, a solid color field with her bright orange ball in the center. But I'd really like a slogan. Her family has a tradition of naming their pets after Greek words, so if it could be in Greek, that'd be great. (Also, if anyone could point me to an English->Greek translator that spits out a non-Greek alphabet translation, if such a thing exists, that'd be great.) |

"Motto" is the term you're looking for.
I can't help with the Greek, but I'll suggest "The Terrierists Have Already Won" for the English version of PRN's slogan. |

For the motto, I'm thinking something that just randomly inserts the word "ball" into an already-established motto. In a pinch, I guess we could go latin.
