Angry Birds: The Movie
Given the Thematic Stupid that is Battleship, and its SyFy alternate American Battleship, there is probably out there a script inspired by Angry Birds.
Cough it up. |

I don't know if you're joking or not, but Angry Birds has been optioned for a movie.

If the front line version isn't sufficiently bonkers, the SciFi version will be awesomely stoopid.

I've come up with some taglines, because what use is a script without taglines and a trailer? So:
"Four legs bad - two legs livid"[1] "This little piggy stayed at home - bad mistake" "Birds of a feather go ballistic together" "What goes up - comes down angry" "Coming this Salmon: They've Haddock with those Scampi Pigs!" I would be impressed if the studio uses the word "ballistic" somewhere. It's a synonym for angry, and it describes the basic mechanism of the game. But it might be too clever. Word word word word in italics word. "Those pigs is gonna squeal like pigs, which is what they are - weeee!" [1] It's a tagline, it's supposed to be stupid. Remember "Titans Will Clash"? |

As a side note - Battleship may have a ridiculous-seeming premise, but as explosion-driven action movies go, it's actually kinda cool.

Robot Chicken beat you to it. Their version was a buddy-cop movie with Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller.
