Who did this painting?

An antique painting is for sale at a nearby auction. It is an oil painting of a fish in a gilt gold ornate frame 12" x 14." The painting has the initials GFP with a circle around it. Anyone out there happen to know who this might be? I've gone to various sites where you can plug in the name of the artist, but I only have the initials. Thanks in advance!
