Did anyone see a waterspout/funnel cloud over the lake Sept. 9?

Today at the beach, it was nice and sunny, but there were a lot of clouds and a few spots of rain off in the distance over the lake. Off to the southeast, I saw what I believe is a funnel cloud. From when I first noticed it, it lasted maybe two or three minutes. Was this real, or was I imagining things?

For what it's worth, one of my friends in Chicago said she saw it too (she mentioned it in her Facebook status.)

Update: Tom Skilling's weather page in the Tribune said there were several waterspouts yesterday.
