Warmgun's other thread reminded me that there is an interesting exhibit making its last (U.S.) stand through October here at the Taft Museum in Cincinnati. If you are an art lover and in the neighborhood you might want to swing by before October 28.

Quote:
Modern Masters traces the development of modern Western art from the serene landscapes of the Barbizon school through the impressionists' light-filled canvases and Post-impressionist experimentations to avant-garde works by cubists and surrealists. The display ranges from the famous European masters Pablo Picasso, Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema, Marc Chagall and Paul Gauguin to impressionists Camille Pissarro, Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Eugène Boudin, to Barbizon artists Jean-Baptiste Camille Corot, Julien Dupré and Jean François Millet, to the surrealists Salvador Dalí and René Magritte.
