Hello, I'm Kate and I'm new to this board.

We just started an online, all natural beef, store [link deleted] - and I'm excited to see recipes, meet new friends and share our amazing beef with you guys.

I suppose that's true but I tend to associate spam with scams and stuff where as at least this seems like a legit company, and given it's a family firm this could be a 12/75 year old or something trying hard so I am inclined to give some slack.

You may be, and if it were a board you were sole admin of, you could do just that. However, this board isn't yours to administrate.

I can still give my opinion, especially when it's pointing out stuff that an overworked mod might miss or be reluctant to look for. I see it as being helpful

I wasn't sure how much cattle cost, but I guess it never occurred to me that a single cow is worth almost $5,000.

Edit: Gosh, I hate to actally have a real discussion in between all the fun we're having...but if one had a few acres, how much could one profit from raising a single calf to full delicious adult meaty-ness?

Maybe I was raised differently, but I thought "share" meant you had an excess of something and gave, say, half of it to someone else, just to be nice.

Or at least that's how I've always shared my amazing beef.
