I'm sure this has been discussed before, but now that we have a NEW board to discuss this kind of thing in the proper and just context, it's worth another go, I reckon.
So I'm asking for examples where the trailer was a little 2 minute work of art, and the movie was a 2 hour piece of crap. Most recent example for me was Pearl Harbor. Very nice, stirring trailer and a quite unsatisfying and misguided movie to go with it.
