Song from South Park, 3-26-03
On last night's 9:30 episode (repeat) where the boys host the Romanian gymnasts, the sub-plot involves Kenny embarking on a singing career.
He is sitting on his bed listening to a tape of voice lessons. The instructor on the tape runs him through a couple of warm-up exercises, then says " Now we will sing the entire ------," and names some classical opera piece whose title I can't understand. Kenny then launches into an hilarious rendition of a beautiful, but muffled, classical song. I instantly recognized the tune. It has been appropriated into a pop song of the past couple of years, but I know neither the title or artist involved there, either. Are the any classical music / South Park fans who could help me get the name of this song? Thanks. |
