New anti-double post feature?

Now ain't this a kick in the pants?

I was just posting to my Zippo thread, and due to serious network issues, have to reload and resubmit my submission.

Strangely, I noticed my "[sub]" tags didn't work anymore.

So, I thought I corrected it, and hit "Preview Post". It still didn't work.

Being the intrepid soul I am, I hit "Submit" anyway. And came up "Page not found. . .", so I backed up a page, tried it again. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Then, I get an error message from the SDMB: "This post is a copy of a post you posted in the last five minutes. You will now be taken to your thread."

Have the hamsters gotten an upgrade, or has SkyNET taken over the SDMB?
