The First SDMB Little Guy Awards!

Here at the SDMB, we have a lot of celebrities. Esprix, Fenris, Flammy and many more whose names I will not make you read right now because you already know them. These dopers are well known, well loved (by most people anyway) and well... worded? What's the word I'm looking for here? Articulate! [/Bedazzled] Yeah, and articulate.

But what about the little guy? They get hardly any recognition. No big spectacular posts, no abysmally large post counts, no board-wide recognition, and in some cases, have obviusle knot red a dicshunaire.

This award (The SDMB Little Guy Award) was designed (by me) to let the little guy have some recognition without having to go to any extremes (whether trollish or otherwise). The SDMBLGA shall be held in the first week of each month, but nominations may be put in at any time.

That said, I give the First SDMB Little Guy Award to:

KWYJIBO!!!

Will Kwyjibo please come forward and be recognized.

I chose Kwyjibo because he met all qualifications (that I saw, if he didn't... I'll give that award to someone else!), don't worry all you other little guys, you get a shot next month.

I now officially give permission to begin nominations for September's Little Guy of The Month.

Since this is the Little Guy award, to most non-dopers, yes. But to me, the big important person, you don't because you have too many posts. Once a doper hits 1000 posts, you are not eligible for the Little Guy Award. I forgot to mention that.

I think the Little Bastard award should be given by the moderators. As in, "Look, you Little Bastard, unless there's a General Question, the thread doesn't belong here!" and "Cmere, you Little Bastard. Let me show you why cross-posting is bad."

Kwyjibo, I chose you because you were the first person I cared to examine who met the qualifications. I didn't bother asking around for nominees.

Me, a celebrity? No, I must be ever modest and humble, and challenge that description of myself. (or something) I am most definitely not articulate some of the time, but thanks for saying I am.
