First: The Whos, Whats, Wheres & Whys of the Supplemental Poll In an attempt to squeeze as many bands in the shortest amount of time possible, The Monday 6 @ 6 Poll, is once again featuring a supplemental poll. A while back, in Week #15, Dragon Phoenix requested we run a Kate Bush 6@6 Poll in The Caf Society...Here it is. This supplemental poll, like the regularly scheduled Bush thread will be closed and tallied 7 days from today, Monday September 23, 2002 at 6PM EDT. I am saving the duet with Peter Gabriel until you reach the G.
Kate Bush and Tori Amos are my favourite all-time female artists. The album Hounds of love is IMHO one of the ten best albums of all time. Limiting it to 6 (regretfully): 6. Army dreamers 5. Running up that hill 4. Mother stands for comfort 3. Cloudbusting 2. The ninth wave (this really is one big composition) 1. The man with the child in his eyes |

I had explanations in my original post to this thread, but it got eaten. Anyway, in no particular order:
The Kick Inside The Dreaming Hounds of Love Jig of Life December Will Be Magic Again Never Be Mine If you'd made it the top seven I would have listed all the tracks in The Ninth Wave, which is much more than the sum of its parts. |
