I asked, "Would be alive today, if real?" and you answered, "Did not die in character." However, a character who did not die by the end of a movie set in 1705 would still be dead today.

Previous IQs:

Have you played a murderous alien, a Russian spy, an AI and a bored woman in a foreign hotel, among other roles? - Scarlett Johansson, in Under the Skin, The Avengers, Her and Lost in Translation.
Are you the PM of the UK? - Yes, Boris Johnson
Are you his brother, recently resigned from the Cabinet? - Jo Johnson

DQs:

American?
Considered a "good guy"?

IQs:

Are you Baroness Haden-Guest?
Did you have the most famous early sex-change operation?
Are you the heroine of Aladdin?

Not necessarily, the character could be immortal, like ghosts or spirits. That was not a clue, just an explanation.

A character from 1705 who is "Not sci-fi/fantasy," as you just told us, would not still be alive. Do I have to ask the exact same question again?

It was a poorly worded question. A better question would have been, what time frame does the character occupy? That's basically what you were going for, right?

Oh, and take three DQs.

Others and I have asked it before with no problems. It may reveal both the fate of the character and the era of the story. And "What time frame does the character occupy?" is not a question that can be answered Y/N.

I guess I have to ask it again.
