Computer question: is this spyware?

I'm running 64-bit Vista Home Premium on a laptop, and I just noticed that a bunch of strange files appeared on my second (storage) hard drive. The files are as follows:
Quote:
eula.1028.txt
eula.1031.txt
eula.1033.txt
eula.1036.txt
eula.1040.txt
eula.1041.txt
eula.1042.txt
eula.2052.txt
eula.3082.txt
globdata.ini
install.exe
install.ini
install.res.1028.dll
install.res.1031.dll
install.res.1033.dll
install.res.1036.dll
install.res.1040.dll
install.res.1041.dll
install.res.1042.dll
install.res.2052.dll
install.res.3082.dll
VC_RED.CAB
VC_RED.MSI
vcredist.bmp
Now my virus/spyware scanner (Avast!) hasn't picked up anything, and a quick web search indicates that these are from a bug in Visual Studio 2008, but I don't have VS2008 installed, nor have I ever tried. So is there any chance that these are indicative of a virus, spyware, malware, or some other kind of nastiness?

It's not a problem, just delete. They came from the C++ runtime update on Windows Update.
