ETA: Also, it kind of sounds natural to me, because it feels like the song temporarily drifts into F major in the C-C9-F-Bb sequence, and then settles back into Am. With that hanging Bb chord, it feels like the song can settle back to the I of F, but instead goes Am. And the difference between F and Am is just one half-step: instead of F-A-C, it's E-A-C, so it's a pretty natural harmonic movement, with a twist. Actually, I suppose you can almost look at it as a tritone substitution.

Just one? Ouch. Uh... "Good Morning Good Morning," if I must be so outrageously limited in my choices. Great lyrics, brass and guitar work, and Ringo's drumming was never better.

My favorite is "Getting Better". It seemed so personal and raw, or at least it did to my young ears.

"I used to be cruel to my woman
I beat her and kept her apart from the things that she loved
Man I was mean but I'm changing my scene
And I'm doing the best that I can (Ooh)"

It's impossible to pick only one, but "Strawberry Fields Forever" sums up what made the Beatles great for me. (To cheat a bit, I also love the slower, more acoustic version).

Here's every Beatles song from A-Z, in just 11 1/2 minutes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tx2KTYkb1GA. Several in there I'd never heard before. I esp. liked the candids of them setting up for the Sgt. Pepper's album cover - and John with the poster that inspired "For the Benefit of Mr. Kite," and Paul and Martha herself for "Martha My Dear"!
