Never publicly stated that I returned the money but at least one did acknowledge it was returned. No money sent by Dopers in May was ever transferred from PayPal to our bank account; they were all reverted to the senders by June.

Also, the first time was less than a year ago, and if he should have learned anything he should have learned that his finances were so shaky that one visit to the vet put him late on his payments. And Dopers helped him pay his electrical bill then, which he never even acknowledged in the thread about the sick kitty. He was also smart enough not to mention in that thread that he had retirement savings he could draw from.

And in the second thread, just a few months later, he's talking about how much overtime work he's turned down.
