Once one of my coworkers was trying to find out how long the gestation period was for pregnant cats. I don't remember what all my search terms were, but I think they were simply "cat pregnant gestation" or something obvious like that. We got porn.

I'm fighting super hard not to google any of the other things I've read in this thread. My dinner is resting uneasy just remembering last time I succumbed to temptation and clicked on harlequin baby links.

[QUOTE=Mirror Image egamI rorriM]Well, I got an extremely overweight naked woman holding a halberd.

Seeing as quite a bit of the population is obese, I don't think that's in league with harlequin babies and subincision.

That's rather akin to when I googled "D cup breasts" and got a picture of a flat-chested asian girl, only to google "A cup breasts" and get a picture of, well, Russ Meyer

Except, well, she wasn't wearing clothing in the picture I got.

Pssst: Russ Meyer is a guy. He directed the movie that sill is from ( Vixen, IIRC), and a lot of other flicks with unbelievably-boobed women. Look up his entry on the IMDB.

Is that the rather unpleasant 'fountain' pic that can cause people to avoid bathtubs for many months?

I'm pretty sure eunuchs only have their testicles removed, not the penis.

One evening at work, I made the mistake of trying to find information on an old fanzine for The Who. It was named after the song Naked Eye. I've never closed down a window so fast in my life.

After reading Zodiac by Neal Stephenson, I decided to see exactly what chloracne looked like, against my better judgement.

Probably a bad idea.

If you want to see what chloracne looks like, just look at recent pictures of Victor Yushenko. His face has pretty much been ravaged since he was poisoned with dioxin.

There are actually two classes of eunuchs: those who have had only their testicles removed and those who have basically been rendered Ken dolls. Castrati were usually just castrated (astonishing, I know), while eunuchs who were guards in harems were more likely to have everything removed, since men who are castrated can still have sex. There was actually a trend in ancient Rome for well-endowed, castrated slaves among upper-class women. Roman matrons would give the slaves as gifts to their friends. Pregnancy free copulation was the main selling point. Brought to you by A Mind of Its Own: A Cultural History of the Penis by David M. Friedman. It's a really good book, if you're into the body and society.

I heard that from my brother, too. Many years ago he was responsible for setting up the Web site at his community college. He told me that he accidentally added the ".com" link for the White House. Fortunately he discovered his mistake while he was still working on the college's site.

I'm taking his word for it, though. There's no way I'm clicking on the ".com" link.

BTW, my 11 year old son was doing a project on Medieval weaponry, including halberds. I wonder if he would have told me if he misspelled it....

I'm not sure how I stumbled across it, but evidently there's a lot sites dedicated to anorexic pr0n (and no, I don't mean underweight Hollywood starlets), so one should probably be careful how they key terms dealing with anorexia into google.

May Og help your poor soul. Look on the bright side: at least you are not part of a culture that practices subincision as rite of passage into male adulthood. I try not to be so ethnocentric (as my former anthropology prof would say), but I find it difficult to understand what motivates some societies to encourage such a ritual.

DragonCon has a group of folks (myself included now) who make humorous videos to be shown before panels and such and one thing they made last year was one that was the spin off of a Hummer SUV commercial. Well, in the creation of said animation, they needed graphics of a Hummer. And so the unwitting dude googled "Hummer."

What followed has been told and retold and was actually also made into another video skit for the group and entailed very obtuse and obfuscated descriptions of what it was that he ran across.

Yeah, searching for "Hummer" seems like a bad idea.

I'm not sure of what half this crap is, and I haven't looked at any of it, but I still feel uneasy and squicked out at just the THOUGHT of it all.

Me = cannot handle gross things.

Me = also very curious person who needs to get out of this thread!!!

I'd say just stay away from rotten.com --> I stumbled across it years ago and remember seeing some gross things. Not sure how many were real, but they were still sickening.

Well, if you're that curious, why don't I send you to the sort of site I warned people against. (parent page here)

If I were feeling nice, I'd include a link to my earlier post in this thread, but I'm not feeling that nice.

No way! I looked that up a few years ago when I was writing an article about a workers' compensation case. The employee had suffered a degloving injury to her face.* The text alone was enough to make me nauseous.

That was the very last time I wrote a workers' comp case while I was eating.

* Apparently it's considered a degloving injury even if it doesn't affect your hand.

I always liked the 3 Dead Trolls In A Baggie skit about parents getting connected to the internet.

Dad: So I want to paint the living room, and I am wondering if latex paint will stick to stucko so I think I will go search for latex bondage.

Son: Eeep!

Elf porn does exist. I was in a chat group in EQ once and we were joking around and someone said they were going to take nude photos of their character and post them to an elf porn site. We got curious, and found out elf porn exists. We were to scared to search for Ogre or Troll porn.
