That's part of it I think. This board is the only place I ever hear things like "Oh that actor was obviously brought up in Glurgenspeil Country, I can tell by his accent" or "Sure, he's actually an Austrian speaking Polish like the show wants him to be, but he's
clearly from the South of Austria and 14 episodes ago they said he grew up in the Northern part of Austria so his Polish accent wouldn't sound like that"
As I said before, they could be speaking gibberish and as long as it was gibberish that sounded like the correct language, I (and probably a lot of other people) wouldn't notice. The show does strive to get the accents right, but I don't think they're going to kill themselves over it. I mean, if they can get this actor for $10,000 or the one that can do the accent a little better for $18000 (just making up numbers here), maybe they'd rather use the extra money for Digital Effects or more equipment for the superlab or extra Eggos for Jr.
