My second card arrived today (Friday). Thanks Atomic Mama. I've never seen a wooden card like it before. Unfortunately it seems to have got a bit knocked about during the journey - there are a few chipped edges.

It's actually quite a coincidence. Just before I went out to check the postbox, I was reading an article in the Economist about your state's senatorial election.

I got an Ottawa postcard by way of Saskatchewan thanks to Northern Piper. That's two received.

I had to tell the nice little old lady postmistress of the possibly hurricane headed our way. Mail pickup often involves a long visit like that on my part of the island.

I checked my mail today and I got two TWO! postcards. Which puts my total at four. Not that it's not nice! I got:

I will certainly enjoy what's left of winter, although I fear that won't be much. Temperatures are rising and there's a distinct smell of spring in the air.
