His response for a Nazi terrorist killing American citizens was "both sides are bad," so, you know, not that great.

Trump's mealy-mouthed semi-condemnation was fairly disgusting, but I've gotta admit I didn't expect anything more (or, er, less) from that bloated human pustule.

I guess America IS being made great again, if you're the type who likes a good old-fashioned riot.

I freely admit this isn't important in the greater scheme of things, but I'm endlessly fascinated by his peculiar word choices. From his most recent Tweet re: Charlottesville:

Meanwhile he refuses to condemn it, and tries a weak ass "both sides" bullshit line instead.

I think its hysterical that the governor of Guam taped the call and posted it on his Facebook page. It's like the Executive branch has become one big drive time morning zoo radio prank phone call.

Ken Frazier of Merck, who is black, resigned from Trump's Manufacturing Council in frustration at Trump's failure to condemn racism, and now Trump is attacking him on Twitter for Merck's prices being too high, when apparently they were not when Frazier was on his side.

How has President Trump pissed you off today?

It's 8/14. He's been in office nearly 7 months now and hasn't pissed me or any other rational person off yet.

You're a prime example of the kind of person Trump was referring to when he said he could shoot someone and not lose support.

Truly hilarious that this post appeared literally one post below:

"Ken Frazier of Merck, who is black, resigned from Trump's Manufacturing Council in frustration at Trump's failure to condemn racism, and now Trump is attacking him on Twitter for Merck's prices being too high, when apparently they were not when Frazier was on his side."

The justice department is demanding the IP addresses of people who visited a Trump protest site. 1.3 million of them. I'm sure Foxnews wouldn't have had any problem with Obama's justice department doing this.

Must be nice to have stock in companies that have hosting sites in the EU where they would tell a US Court to go fuck themselves. I see a boom happening...

I believe I read somewhere — might even have been on the SDMB — that accepting a pardon, at least after one has been convicted, is tantamount to an admission of guilt. Is this a reasonable inference to make?

I read it here, too. (I might have even posted it... ) It also removes Fifth Amendment protection from the person pardoned. So that's an upside.

Someone please tell that to Joe Arpaio because he said “I would accept the pardon because I am 100 percent not guilty.”

So days after one of his supporters ran someone over, Trump retweeted a cartoon of the "Trump Train" running someone over.

People of that ilk(Arpaio, Trump etc) really don't care whether you think they are guilty or innocent, as long as they get to keep their money and their freedom. For example, even if Trump is impeached and removed from office he will consider it a "win" if he makes his deals and makes an overall profit.

And that is exactly why I keep saying it is not enough. He needs to have all his ill gotten gains seized, be sent to federal prison, and his cronies with him.

From here.
Quote:
During an intense back-and-forth with reporters on Tuesday afternoon, President Donald Trump came close to defending the demonstrators who gathered with white nationalists and neo-Nazis to protest the removal of a Confederate statue in Charlottesville, Virginia, this weekend. There were “very fine people on both sides,” Trump insisted.
Nazis? White supremacists? Very fine people?

If you quack like a racist duck, you're a racist duck. Why was there ever any doubt the s.o.b. is racist? Why is anyone surprised he supports racists? Why is anyone surprised racists support him?

Here is a link for those who get the pay wall block to that same story.

By the way, did you ever wonder why the chump is anti-Semitic even while his daughter converted to Judaism and married a Jew whose grandparents survived the Holocaust? IMHO, the answer is simple: the chump (a) considers the man to be "one of the good (i.e. not really one) Jews, and (b) his daughter's conversion to be really meaningless.

Trump is the most deluded person in history and you Nazi sympathizers, racists, and bigots declared your sympathies when you voted for him. No, he was not the lesser of two evils. He was and still is evil. He has never done any good. And now he's in a position to do more and worse evil than ever before. You fucking idiots.

Trump is known for being thoughtful and cautious, waiting for the facts to come in, before issuing his carefully nuanced opinions.

Originally from and still in Queens, and I concur wholeheartedly. Many of us knew when he built that paeon to his ego, Trump Tower. Since then, all he's done is slap his name on a bunch of overpriced shit, build an ethically-challenged empire to his ego, legally but immorally walk out on money owed, cheat hard-working men and women simply because he could, and run a bunch of companies into the ground.

And that's me being nice in describing his history.

Is he saying that he didn't know last Saturday whether Nazis were good or bad?
