I do hope he is giving it something more than just sugar water. They have high protein requirements when young, like many other birds - not to mention fat and various minerals and vitamins.

There is a reason that people doing wildlife rescue need training and licensing.

There are some posts under the video and the young man (isn't he a cute kid?), states he was able to get her to learn to be just like all of the other hummingbirds, and she eventually relocated to the yard, and even migrated. While he was raising her, he caught bugs from his compost pile and crushed them to add to her "baby food". I'm not sure how he knows it's a she, but he said that she didn't permanently imprint on humans.
