The Pit. You can use this forum to ask about how we're handling a situation or if a poster has broken the rules, but ATMB is not the place to list all the reason you think that poster is a jerk.

No, if you have a gripe against another poster you're talking about Pit material. If your purpose is to accuse another poster of fabricating a persona, acting against the "Spirit of the Board," or other criticism, the place for that is the Pit.

As has been said above, this forum is for discussing the administration of the board. If you if you want to comment on the handling of this matter, then that's appropriate for this forum.

Since there already is a Pit thread about etv78, if you want to criticize him the place is there.

FWIW, I'll mention that ages ago etv said he was friends with a local band called the Alpacas. I was once at a show where the Alpacas played. They had a friend there who was in a wheelchair. That happened before he posted about being friends with them, so I didn't know who it was at the time, but remembered seeing him when he did ask about other Alpacas fans later. I didn't actually respond to that thread, or, as far as I know, to any etv post ever.

This thread is about one poster who goes by the title etv78. Thus information that indicates that he is not who he claims to be is 100% relevant to this thread. Offering evidence that someone might be a troll is 100% something that happens in ATMB, as evidenced by the obvious fact that no one here has gotten a warning for talking about such.

We're not listing why he's a jerk. We're listing information for your consideration based on the current case. Is etv a troll? This information is relevant to figuring that out. And you guys have flat out said in the past that it's okay to discuss trolling actions in ATMB. I sure never got even a mod note about it, and you sure didn't give one out to the people discussing Snowboarder Bo, for example.

And stop this bullshit about not being able to say negative things about posters in ATMB. You haven't stopped it before. Heck, there was a whole thread where people ganged up on me for daring to post about something I thought was a problem. And there are numerous threads where people talk bad about each other. As long as they don't start name calling, no one has gotten in trouble.

I've stated before that I don't think the guy's a troll, but the way the mods are treating this is ridiculous. Just because Tuba said something doesn't mean it reflects reality on this board. If anything, she's less qualified to discuss such since she's so infrequently here.
