Book Club Names!

Help me come up with a clever and cool book club name. The last one I belonged to was called "The Bookmarkers" <-- El Yawno

This club made up of women who all work for the same bank in the Twin Cities. We're reading a variety of books, as you can see from the list below:

White Teeth by Zadie Smith
The Industry of Souls by Martin Booth
Girl with a Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier
The Sparrow by Mary Doria Russell*
The M.D. by Thomas Disch*
Ocean Sea by Alesandro Baricco
As it is in Heaven by Niall Williams
The Fly Truffler by Gustaf Sobin
Love in Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
Deptford Trilogy by Robertson Davies
An Equal Music by Vikram Seth
A Dangerous Vine by Barbara Ewing

*My selections, thank you very much.

Any ideas?
Respectfully submitted, Gazelle

I know someone has to have an idea. You're the most creative bunch of people I know...

Okay, here's my own try. This is brainstorming, so bare with me:

The Fellowship of the Book <---Cheese
Daughters of the American Readolution <--- God, I suck at this.
Bookaholics <--- Probably been done before.
Just Read It <--- Eh.
Got Book? <--- Eh.

Help me, people. I'm going down.

Oh Moddy Moddy Mods? Should this maybe be in Cafe Society?

I think it straddles the line...

I can't think of anything definite but perhaps I can point you in the way of inspiration. Thinking of famous book clubs...

You could do a variation of The Inklings. This was the name of the book circle C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien belonged to. You could steal it and be the Banklings, or Thinklings... Yech... not very good but you never know.

What else do you at the meetings? Do you always eat the same food? Drink heavily? That may lead to something distinctive. Like the Chowder Club from Ghost Story, or even Blue Oyster Cult which was originally a poetry circle.

Good Luck. Hopefully someone more clever than I will help you out.

Hey Lao Tsu.

We haven't had a meeting yet.

Maybe I should wait 'til we've had at least one so I have some eccentricities to describe...

BTW, I did not know that about Blue Oyster Cult. That is so cool.
