Doesn’t all this “Give peace a chance” crap just sicken you? Yoko Ono is an idiot!

We are NOT the nation deciding if we will go to war. It has been decided for us, and shoved down our collective throats.

9/11 was just another battle in the war started long ago. It started with the killing of 200+ Marines in the barracks bombing. The killing of our Sailors on the U.S.S. Cole. The FIRST Trade Center bombing. Etc. Etc. And it continues EVERY day in Isreal.

If the repressive, antagonistic forces in this conflict wanted peace, they would sue for it. Nope. Saddam encourages Palestinians to kill themselves for the cause, and gives $25,000 per terrorist that kills an enemy while blowing himself up. He paid survivors of the hijackers of the planes on 9/11.

Two Colonels in the Chinese army wrote a book about terrorist warfare against the United States, mentioning Osama Bin Laden repeatedly within it. A quote from the book:

“Whether it be the intrusions of hackers, a major explosion at the World Trade Center, or a bombing attack by bin Laden, all of these greatly exceed the frequency bandwidths understood by the American military…”

The book makes abundantly clear that the US is the mortal enemy of China, and that it is a how-to book. The two Colonels are being lauded as HEROS in China after 9/11. The Chinese premier watches the CNN videos of the Trade Center towers going down and laughs at us.

Our President has taken the more political approach of asking Congress for a formal Declaration of War, when he does not even need to. He is trying to put a good face on an already bad situation. But it is NOT Congress that is deciding currently if there IS a state of war. Like I said, that choice was not up to us.

Saddam is a madman who is trying desperately to build a nuclear arsenal. Why? Just for his own country’s protection? I don’t think so. He is a terrorist in control of a nation, with the resources of an Opec country at his control. If he is financially rewarding terrorists for bombing his enemies, he will be willing to use any weapon he can lay his hands on, including the atomic bomb.

I’m sorry, but this is a rant, plain and simple.

We understand the anger and frustration a day like this must encompass. But there’s a place for everything, and on these boards, rants go in the Pit.

Oicu812, if you wish to post this kind of vile rubbish here, and I really have strong reservations about suggesting even this, I’d prefer to not see it at all, you may repost it in the Pit.
