Upstairs Apartment troubles

The people that live above me in my apartment complex are very loud. Their apartment is a small one bedroom thing (bout 400square feet) and there is a very large couple and their child (bout 10) livin there. They run, they exercise, they run their vacume at 3am, they make my ceiling fan shake. I have talked to the apartment complex two or three times about it and nothing gets done. My question is this- is there anything I can do to piss them off? Like putting my stereo speakers agianst the ceiling and playing loud bass or anything like that? Any funny apartment stories out there?

Best thing I would do is to find out when they actually do sleep and then find yourself two cats that really don't get along at all (that is if pets are allowed) and let them "play" together. Nothing like being woke up from a sound sleep with the most annoying sound of two cats fighting. Or, being a fellow Texan and being from Big D, (home of millions of Cowboy fans) try downloading "Hail to the Redskins" on your computer and play it as loud as you can. That will defianately tick them off. But of course, they could be like me and be a SKINS fan.

I live directly underneath 4 males in their early 20s....it is often quite loud, and they seem to like to move their furniture every evening. I usually can get the noise to stop by pounding on the ceiling with my fist on a hammer with a towel between it and the ceiling itself.
