Wishing death on someone...

This is a no-no, even in the Pit.

HOWEVER, if your personality is so abrasive that you put quite a few people on edge simply at the sight of your userid, do not be surprised when people flame you, seemingly out of nowhere. Being argumentative and taking potshots at people builds up bad message board karma, which WILL come out sooner or later. So before you hit that “report this post” button, make sure that your own behavior is blameless, both in the individual thread and on the message board as a whole.

[sub]I really hope she’s not talking about me[/sub]

I said “abrasive”, porcupine, not “prickly”.

Thank you. That has been needed to be said for awhile.

so is what i said in this thread out of line?

I think something like “I hope those f’ing TRUTH people would get hit by a bus.”

Yours is pretty obvious as a joke.

But what Lynn says counts, not me.

Can you wish The Pain on someone?

Do I have to play nice with Saddam?

Even if they have really bad hair color?

Can we still wish for them to, say, be anally raped by, say, a robot from outer space wearing, say, a condom made out of hedgehogs? Because if I can’t still wish that I see no point in remaining on this board.

I do believe she is refering to my remark aimed at that waste of flesh Danae.

“Goddess of Spring”? Like Hell.

Goddess of the Carrion Birds would be better, if her views on war count for anything.

Not even Osama bin Laden?

When wishes for anal rape by alien robots wearing hedgehog condoms are outlawed, only outlaws…oh, never mind.

It seems to me that the extent to which “Oh, just die!” are a problem, the problem’s largely self-correcting via the usual pileon-pileon-suicide-by-mod sequence. Encrusting a few too many rules recently.

Why, it’s nearly enough to make me demand my money back!

If people hardly even seem to notice you exist, does that count as “blameless”?

What if I wish Derleth on someone, is that still OK? Because he can be really sarcastic – the intellectually-challenged might soon wish for death, after being subjected to his mockery.

Conquest, war, famine and Derleth. Can you imagine?

I always thought it was pestilence, not conquest.

Anyway, it’s better than Derleth and taxes.

Okay.

Danae, war, famine and Derleth. Can you imagine?

Hey, can I wish that someone fall into a persistent vegetative state?

Hey, be nice to carrot.
