How to Obtain French Open Tickets

Mrs. Pash and I will be on holiday in Paris next week, and I wondered if anyone had advice on how to get tickets to The French Open. The tournement has already started, so I assume they would not have any tickets available at the box office. Of course, I don't expect to get into one of the stadiums, but I would like to see some matches on some of the lesser courts if possible. Are there scalpers hanging around Roland Garros? Are there ticket brokers I could visit? Again, I don't want to see the high profile matches and I don't want to spend a lot of money.

If there are no tickets available, would anyone recommend just hanging out around the complex to soak up the atmosphere?

I got into Centre Court at the 100th Wimbledon many years back for almost nothing. The entry fees went down considerably after 5pm, so we got in for about 5 pounds, maybe it was 3. Once in, we went to the exit and looked for people who had Day Passes to the good seats, asked if they were leaving for the day, and if we could use their passes. SCORE!

I didn't see that same cheapies after 5pm at the French Open site, but maybe score some cheap grounds passes via the website and give it a shot? If there ARE scalpers, getting Day Passes late in the day should be cheaper.
