Nanny puts baby into garbage can....WTF???

I was just watching the CBS Early Show, and they ran a story with video of a nanny hitting a baby in a high chair then picking up the baby and PUTTING THE BABY IN A GARBAGE CAN! What the hell is wrong with her? There is NO excuse in the world for doing this. From what I understand, she's been arrested and could face up to four years in prison for child abuse. I say, 'GOOD!' Idiot ass nanny.......

Once, when I needed to do laundry, I couldn't carry Fin_baby and the hamper down the stairs at the same time so I put Fin_baby in the hamper and carried them both down. I even took a picture of it and my mother-in-law has in on her desk at work.

Seriously, this is sick/sad. Might you have a link to a news article?

Looks like there are no links to this story at this time, but I stand by what I saw this morning. A correction does need to be made, though. If convicted, the nanny stands to serve four MONTHS, not years in prison. The above incident occured in Mexico, which might explain the lack of links at this time.

From http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stori.../41924/1/.html -

"A Mexican judge has been forced to let a violent nanny go free on bail, despite a secret home video showing her apparently abusing a one-and-a-half year old baby.

According to the state of Guanajuato's justice code, child abuse is not classified as a serious crime."

WTF?

Another story at http://www.azdailysun.com/non_sec/na...?storyID=67700

Sigh.

I don't know where you live, but in Illlinois, it is perfectly acceptable to drop of a child to a church, a fire house, or other city run facilitys and they have to take the child. Not the best option, but better than find a baby in a dumpster. No excuse for it. How stupid can you be?
