Gratitude

While I might not always agree with the actions of the Administration of this board, it seems to me that they put up with a lot of shit. They might not always respond in the best way, but they often do. So I'd just like to express my gratitude for providing such a wonderful site dedicated to the free and easy exchange of ideas. It seems to me that a lot of people are taking the SDMB for granted.

I realize that this makes me a huge brown-noser. However, I have no motive other tham my want to express my appreciation.

I've been to a couple of other message boards, and this one has the most intelligent and articulate people of all the ones I've visited.

Well, as one of the people roasting Ed Zotti's ass over in the Pit the past few days, I can hardly be accused of brown-nosing. But I still recognize that the admins and mods here do a great deal to keep this place humming along, and I deeply appreciate all that.

This is a great place to hang out online, and I'd miss it tremendously if it weren't here. Kudos to all (yes, even Ed) who do the work to keep it happening.
