question about a SDMB forum member

Does anyone know if Chumpsky was banned from SDMB? Most of his posts seem to have been in the GD forum.

I'm curious about whether or not he simply stopped posting.

He hasn't been banned. His last post was on Jan. 12, 2003 in an ugly thread to which it would be inappropriate to link. When a member is banned, the word "banned" appears beneath his name in all previous posts.

GQ isn't the place for this, so I'll close this thread. If a member has been banned and you're itching to know why, you can contact an administrator and ask. But as far as I know, he hasn't been banned.
