Breaking news: generator fire at St. Louis Gateway Arch

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Some visitors were evacuated Thursday at the Gateway Arch in St. Louis as firefighters battled a noontime blaze at a transformer on the Arch grounds.

Thick black smoke could be seen downtown from the fire. No injuries were reported.
If any St. Louis Dopers are wondering about all the smoke on the waterfront, there's your answer.
