Honda Motorbike commercials with kids

There’s this new honda commercial showing little kids (I’d guess 7-12?) riding motorbikes obviously gasoline powered. How old do you have to be to actually ride one of these? I tried searching on google all I could find was a legal counseling sites.

There’s no legal age for riding dirt bikes in off-road environments. Lots of people get even younger kids (4-5) involved. They make very small bikes for this purpose.

Perhaps I’m mistaken, but I don’t think you have to be any age to drive anything, cars included. It’s when you get on public roads that licensing and ages come into play.

Or it varies by state.

Or I’m completely wrong.

YMMV.

I got my first mini-bike when I was six. (My mom says five; but I don’t remember, so I say six.) I rode my dad’s motorcycle when I was ten, and got my own motorcycle on my 12th birthday.

Basically if you are off-road, you can ride. But you can’t ride on a public road until you have a learner’s permit.

And unless you have a dual-purpose bike, you can ride the dirt bikes in the street anyway.

can’t I mean

Can’t you mean what?
