Alright, a short backstory: a girl I know (22ish) is in Guatemala, and is feeling very ill. She’s gone to a doctor, but right now they haven’t said anything, and I was wondering if any resident MDs would be able to shed some light on what she might have.
She’s had a headache for the last several days, and has felt very weak (just walking on the beach). She’s having trouble seeing properly because her pupils are dilated. Her breathing is raspy, and just this morning she had a “most horrible feeling” in her chest.
We’re worried, and the medical services in the area aren’t exactly top quality.
