The South Park Diet!

My mom called me last night to get some information for an annuity. Then she was telling me about her vacation and her plans for a cruise in November. After a bit, she mentioned that she's just started the "South Park Diet"

I didn't giggle, but I did correct her - it's the South Beach diet - a program designed to help lower cholesterol and triglycerides. Still, I was tickled at the mental image of my mother scarfing down Cheesy Poofs and pot pies in an effort to lose weight and improve her health.

What made it funnier still (at least to me) is that she hates South Park - she thinks it's vulgar.

ummm, incidentally, I've been on this diet for a month, and I've been known to call it South Park also.

My first thought was the episode where they discovered that you could stuff food up your butt and crap out your mouth. I was really interested in what the story here was going to be.

I'd have put this in the Cafe if it was a discussion of particular episodes. Nope, it's just something mundane. And I was trying to think of more food-related South Park stuff.

It does raise some sinister possibilities for "Surprise" mashed potatoes.

I'm on board with any diet that includes Toaster Pastry Chocolate Mix Butter Bars!!!

I thought of the episode where they have Jerrod from Subway on. They decide they want to copy Jerrod's success. So I think they get Kenny to get really fat and then he eats nothing but Chinese food from City Wok. And then some damn mongrolians come.
