Best Place To Buy Straight Dope Books?

I've wondered before if there is a "best place" to buy Straight Dope books. I've enjoyed the Straight Dope for a long time, and when I plunk down the cash for a book, I want to be sure that as much of my money as possible actually gets to Cecil et al.

Does it make a difference where I buy one of these books? If I buy from this web site, am I doing more to support the Straight Dope than if I buy from Amazon.com (where it's slightly cheaper) or not?

Hello, and thank you for supporting the cause of fighting ignorance.

Whilst we would certainly appreciate it if you were to buy the books from the site (it helps us justify the site expenses), the important thing is to buy them from somewhere.

Then, after you have memorized them, you can stalk GQ putting links to Cecil's columns where appropriate, further spreading the Gospel. There is great honor in being the first person to invoke a Cecil column in response to a question.

I remember once chatting with one of the players in a small rock band, and this guitarist told me "I prefer if you order our album at a local record store, that might enourage them to stock it in their bins."

I don't know if this applies to the Straight Dope books and libraries.
