If so, come see my studio's show at Mayfest at 4PM. I don't know what stage we are going to be on, but look for "Crescent Moon Belly Dance Studio" I'll be doing a solo, plus performing with Atiqa.

If you haven't met me before, how will you know me? That's simple, Zyada is my dance name, so that's how I'll be announced. Plus, I'll be wearing a gorgeous forest green skirt with gold sequin work & gold top and belt. And I'm the only blonde in Atiqa. We also get introduced at the end of the show; this year we are getting introduced in alphabetical order, so I'm going to be the last person introduced.

Stay around till the show is over and introduce yourself to me - I'd love to see the people I've met again and meet any new Dopers that haven't shown up at an IRL party yet.

Update: We will be on the Arts stage which is all the way at the south end (which is a pain, 'cause all the parking is at the north end )

Also, although I hope to meet some Doper's there, I won't be able to go anywhere afterwards, cause I'm doing my birthday with my family.

Yet another update. It rained today for the start of Mudf.. I mean Mayfest. If it rains Sunday, the show will be cancelled. If you are planning on coming, I will post an update here Sunday if it is rained out before the show is supposed to start. So if the weather looks bad, check here before ya go, 'k?

hey, I'll be near there- off of I20 in Grand Prarie- but it's my birthday on Sunday, so I shan't make it to meet you. Did you say that it was your birthday too, zyada? I love my birthday. May 7th is the best day ever. (well, maybe not *ever*, but 7 is **definitely** the best number.) Unfortunately, Troy Dungan and the weather team have predicted scattered showers throughout the next week. So much for my birthday being a sunny day! oh well. ta ta for now!
