Rename a city!

For those who don't know, Kurt Busiek's Astro City is a delightful comic book series that explores the human side of comic-book superheroes -- like, how would you react if your car was smashed in a pitched battle with alien invaders?

The centerpiece of this series is Astro City, a major metropolitan city where many of the heroes reside. The city got its name sometime after WWII; the civic leaders simply decided to rename their city "Astro City," in a forward-thinking Buck Rogers-kinda way. So You end up riding with the Astro City Transit Authority, reading the Astro Rocket newspaper, buying slushies at the Astro-Mart, and listening to radio stations KBAC and KACT.

So that got me to thinking: what would you rename your city/state/country to, if given the opportunity? What unique, silly, or original names would you apply to our existing landmarks?
