Just reading about the collapse of the parmalat milk empire…makes ENRON look like spare change! 12$ billion missing…and nobody knows to where! My question: given the strict monetary policy that Italy (as a EUA member) must adhere to, will the Italian government be able to bail the company out? Or, will parmalat be broken up and sold out?
I’m just glad I wasn’t a shareholder or creditor…looks like none of these will get a cent!
