Air Force Officers test: What all's involved ?

Air force flight officer testing came up in GD, and I’d like to get some information on the structure of the test. Not being a military wonk, I can’t find a good description online. Can anyone supply the straight dope on what all’s involved?

Question no 1: Is your father a Senator or Congressman?
If yes, you may skip the rest of the questions.
Sorry, couldn’r resist. I’m sure some one will be along shortly who isn’t such a smartass.

The test is the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (AFOQT ). I don’t know how long it has been around in it’s current version, but I took the thing in 1987 and it hasn’t changed much since then.

Thanks pilot141! With a practice exam even, now I can determine whether the AFOQT will keep me AFOOT.

If flight officer testing is what you’re interested in, also take a look at the BAT test section of pilot141’s link. I know a few dudes who didn’t make it because they failed the BAT, and the part you don’t have much control over is the video game sort of stuff. You also don’t find out your score until it can’t make a difference any more (i.e. after you apply and are accepted/rejected), as I recall.
