Roof repair and gutters

Yes, I know. *Yawn*

But anyway - I need to have my gutters replaced. Problem is, sometime within the next year or two I will probably have to have my roof replaced as well. Question is, will the roof repair affect my gutters? I know next to nothing about either topic - from walking around my house, I think they're safe, but...

I think it depends on how careful your roofers are. I know it's certainly possible to replace a roof without mangling the gutters. When we had our roof redone the roofers only mangled one gutter.
If I were you, I'd wait on the gutters until after the roof.
Just my opinion.
