I’ve never done this myself, nor seen anyone else do it. But apparently, its not rare to tip them. Whats the deal here?

Say what? Tip who? For what? If my wife “tips” me for washing the windows, I don’t want money… :smiley:

Back when I was a Petroleum Transfer Technician, we filled the tank, checked oil, cleaned headlights, checked tires if they looked low, and cleaned the windshield.

Regarding tips, they were attractive girls in sundresses. It’s amazing how much time you can spend cleaning a windshield when you’re 16. :smiley:

I too was a pump jockey in high school. The only time I remeber getting a tip was when I was working on Christmas Eve.
