A belief or conclusion held with confidence but not substantiated by positive knowledge or proof. Now how can one be meek or modest and confident at the same time? And has anyone here ever seen anyone show submissive respect when stating their opinion? IMO, about which there is nothing humble, IMHO is an oxymoron, and as such, should be treated with the scorn it rightfully deserves. It should be put in the hopper with the likes of parking on driveways and driving on parkways. I therefore respectfully request that the name of this forum be changed immediately. More fitting the Teeming Millions would be IMNHBOS-RIYFIAREMDIYDLIO. Or in other words, In My Never Humble But Often Self-Righteous In Your Face I'm Always Right Eat My Dirt If You Don't Like It Opinion. Thank you very much for your consideration. Any other submissions for better names for this forum?

I don't know about everyone else, but being the intellectual juggernaut that I am, I am fully equipped with negative capability, and thus able to sustain a humble opinion indefinitely, with both conviction and panache. But I could be wrong.
