LA Cops beat another motorist

L A cops seem to be getting another raw deal. Someone caught them on video beating a suspect with a (looks like) flashlight.
Darn it anyway why do people keep taking pictures of these fine upstanding young men/women when all they did was restrain the guy.
Of course its maybe a little hard to explain why the 4th guy into the mix, after the guy that had started to ,on his own, lay down on the pavement, decided to use more force.
Oh I'm sure we'll hear about the cops not ever knowing who they are dealing with and for the most part they are really the good guys but why so many videos that show a really rough handling of the suspect?
How many aren't caught on video?
"LA's finest" I think the world ought to think about that one.

The thing is, you can't see what the perp is doing. If he's reaching underneath himself the cops have to assume he's going for a weapon (even if it turns out not to be so).

This is the post shown on CNN.
Well its not very hard to see his hands when he started to lay down. They were above his head.
The fact that the cops picked that time to throw him to the ground was their move not his.
With 2 cops riding him to get his arms back the fact that you couldn't see his hands was also their move.
The last cop just rushed right in and began beating.

Site was CNN I assume the same story as is on Netscape right now.

The fact remains that we don't know what he was doing. Our view of the suspect is obstructed when the officer begins hitting him with the flashlight. And while it certainly does look suspicious, and probably warrants an investigation, I'm not going to fly off the handle and proclaim the LAPD guilty of another beating.

Its amazing. You cannot see the forest for the trees.
When a cop strikes a human being with a flashlight when the person is also being sat upon by 2 other cops (read overwelming force) thats a beating.
