"Band Names" that really are band names?
Okay, we all know about "Free Beer". But what other phrases did you always think would make a great band name...that turned out to actually have a band named after them?
I have two nominations, both of which struck me as potential band named before I discovered they were real names: Saves the Day (who I now have 3 CDs by) Shudder to Think 1920's Style Death Ray (okay, the real band's just "Deathray", but we can all hope can't we?) |

I remember seeing posters up all over downtown Toronto in the mid-'80s for a band with the best name I've ever heard:
Aural Sects. |
